Air New Zealand and its partner airlines operate from the following terminals at Los Angeles International Airport:
- Air New Zealand flights - Terminal 2
- United domestic USA flights - Terminal 7
- Lufthansa flights - Tom Bradley International Terminal
Here are the steps you will need to take when arriving at Los Angeles on an Air New Zealand flight:
- Go through Immigration and collect your bags
- Clear Customs and recheck your luggage as you leave the arrival hall at the Connecting Baggage Desk
- Leave Terminal 2 and go to the appropriate terminal for your onward flight; you can either catch the complimentary airport shuttle bus or walk (see the map below)
- To catch the complimentary airport shuttle, exit the terminal and wait beneath the blue sign "LAX Shuttle and Airline Connections" you will find outside the downstairs arrival level. The shuttle runs every 5 to 10 minutes between all terminals and airlines. It is white, blue and green and has a large letter "A" painted on it.
- If walking to Terminal 7, it is quickest to go across the centre rather than around the roadway
- When you reach Terminal 7 for United or the Tom Bradley International Terminal for Lufthansa, check the flight information screens for the gate number of your connecting flight and proceed to the gate.
